To empower our community by providing relevant literature materials, as well as ensure worldwide computer access for education and informational resources to patrons of all ages, cultural and economic backgrounds.

Our Goals...

To meet the needs and enhance the lives of the residents of Montague County and to keep pace with technological advances, the Nocona Public Library has developed six strategic goals.

  1. Provide programs that will enhance the lives of people in the community.
  2. Utilize technology to bring more services to our community.
  3. Create a safe and open place for patrons that is comfortable and inviting for accessing library resources and attending programs held at the library.
  4. Empower the community with access to educational and informational resources for all ages.
  5. Improve availability of materials in the library.
  6. Create partnerships in the community.
